STZR Labs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Meal Plan Partner mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect several different types of information to provide and improve our service to you.
A. Personal Data
When you register for an account (Free or Premium), we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:
- Email address
- First name and last name
- Authentication data (managed securely via our backend provider)
B. Usage Data & Telemetry (The "Brain")
To power our autonomous scheduling and "You Might Like" recommendations, we collect detailed telemetry data regarding your interactions with the App. This includes:
- Action Logs: Meals planned, recipes skipped, ingredients marked as wasted, and UI interactions.
- Contextual State: Time of day, day of the week, and general app state when actions are taken.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
C. User-Generated Content
- Recipe Data: URLs and links you import into the App to save custom recipes.
- Inventory Data: If you use the "Magic Fridge" feature, we process the list of ingredients you input to generate custom recipes.
2. How We Use Your Data
STZR Labs uses the collected data for various purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain the App: Including cross-device synchronization using local and cloud databases.
- To Power Artificial Intelligence: Your telemetry data (e.g., skipped meals, cooked meals) acts as feedback for our Q-Learning models to personalize your future meal recommendations.
- To Manage Your Account: To provide customer support and manage Premium subscriptions.
- To Improve the App: To analyze usage patterns and fix technical issues.
3. Data Storage and Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data. We share your data only with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate our architecture:
- Supabase: Used for secure user authentication, database hosting, and cloud storage.
- PowerSync: Used to sync your data locally to your device so the App works offline.
- AI Providers: If you use the "Magic Fridge" feature, your ingredient lists are sent to secure Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate recipes. We strip personally identifiable information before interacting with these AI services.
- RevenueCat / App Stores: Used to process Premium Tier subscriptions. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
4. Data Retention
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Usage Data is retained for internal analysis and machine learning model training; however, we take steps to anonymize or aggregate this data where possible over time.
5. Your Data Rights & Deletion (UK GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your data:
- The right to access: You can request a copy of the data we hold on you.
- The right to rectification: You can request that we correct any inaccurate data.
- The right to erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can request that we delete your account and personal data.
- The right to withdraw consent: You can withdraw your consent for data processing at any time.
How to Request Account Deletion
You may delete your account from within the App by navigating to Settings > Profile > Delete Account. Alternatively, you can explicitly request data deletion via email:

6. Children's Privacy
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
